Rachel Pierre-Champagne
Founder and CEO
Rachel Pierre-Champagne is an international development leader with over a decade of experience designing and managing programs focused on community empowerment, social inclusion, education, and economic opportunity. She is the Founder and CEO of Innovators for Change (IFC), a a social impact enterprise that supports organizations in Haiti and globally to strengthen programs that empower marginalized communities.
Rachel currently serves as Director of Human Capacity Development and Economic Opportunities Programs at Fonkoze Foundation, where she leads initiatives that combine digital learning, livelihoods, and financial inclusion to support pathways out of poverty. She has also held senior leadership roles on large-scale humanitarian and development programs, including USAID-funded interventions.
Previously, Rachel spent nearly seven years as Head of Projects at the Digicel Foundation, overseeing education and community development programs, including efforts to strengthen the impact of over 170 schools across Haiti. She has also worked as a consultant with international organizations such as Making Cents International and BRAC, focusing on youth empowerment, financial literacy, and disability inclusion.
Deeply committed to social impact, Rachel serves as Board Chair of Special Olympics Haiti, supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities nationwide.
Rachel holds a Master of Arts and a Master of Education from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College. She is a recipient of the 2024 Wheaton College Alumni Award and is a member of the Vital Voices Visionaries Program (Cohort 8), recognizing her leadership and impact in advancing inclusive development.
